Job summary

Ocean Dental in Oklahoma City is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant to join our practice. You will play a crucial role in supporting the dental team and delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with examinations and procedures.

The ideal candidate has RDA and CPR certification, familiarity with dental terminology, and knowledge of infection control. Experience with the Eaglesoft EMR system and radiology duties is a plus; a dental assisting permit is required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic techniques is essential.
• Knowledge of infection control practices to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• X-ray permit, NO2 certification, and CP are preferred but not required.
• RDA and CPR required. Radiology, Coronal Polishing, and/or Nitrous Oxide certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
• Utilize Eaglesoft EMR system for patient records management.
• Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
