Job summary

Valley Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to support four-handed dentistry and patient care. The role includes assisting the dentist, preparing operatory, taking impressions, radiographs, and patient education.

You will participate in cross training for front office as a Patient Access Representative, maintain hygiene, sterilize instruments, and help coordinate appointments while upholding HIPAA and team-based care.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Dental Assisting Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist in four-handed dentistry and patient care.
• Transfer instruments and supplies; keep operative site clean and dry.
• Take impressions and pour in plaster or stone.
• Expose and develop radiographs; perform prophylaxis as needed.
• Prepare and schedule patients; call and confirm appointments.
• Sterilize instruments; maintain equipment and documentation.
• Assist with billing and dental claim forms.
