Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. in Nashville is seeking an Ortho Dental Assistant to support our Castle Dental offices across the market. This full-time role involves traveling to multiple sites, assisting orthodontists, and ensuring patient comfort and efficient workflow.

The ideal candidate is trained as a Registered Dental Assistant with radiology certification and CPR/BLS, ready to work Monday through Thursday 8am–5pm with a team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Must meet state-specific RDA credentialing requirements.
• Valid Dental Radiology Certification (X-Ray) is required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, OSHA/HIPAA standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures to maintain efficiency and patient comfort.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
• Sterilize and prepare instruments and treatment rooms per infection control protocols.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and procedures.

We’re currently looking for an Ortho Dental Assistant to join our Castle Dental team in the Nashville market. This is a full-time position, traveling throughout the market supporting our Orthodontist. An ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, flexibility, and working across multiple teams and office environments.

Schedule (days/hours)

Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm
Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Sterilize and prepare instruments and treatment rooms following infection control protocols
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
