Job summary

Oral & Facial Surgery Center in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to support the surgeon during a variety of procedures and help deliver exceptional patient care.

You will prepare treatment rooms, take digital X-rays, record patient histories and vital signs, and educating patients on pre- and post-operative instructions while upholding OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in oral surgery assisting is required.
• Current X-ray certification is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of oral surgery procedures and instruments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the oral surgeon during a variety of oral and maxillofacial procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment for each procedure.
