A leading healthcare company seeks a Dental Assistant to support the Oral Surgery department in Boston. The position requires assisting in patient care, performing radiographs, and maintaining dental equipment. POSITION SUMMARY:
Assists in patient treatment with Dentist and assists the Dental Department with patient flow, sterilization and asepsis of equipment, dental outside lab procedures; maintains appropriate inventory levels and performs dental x-rays. Educated and expected to competently care for the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient (age 3 - 100 +). Must be certified to take radiographs /graduate of an approved dental assistant program.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
Minimum of a High School diploma or GED is required. Graduate of a certified dental assistant program (or equivalent, such as 1 year experience in a dental office doing chair side or completion of Armed Forces training) is also required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
Must be certified in radiographs /or graduate of a certified dental program in order to perform x-rays.
