About the Role:

Join the LAOFS team and assist in providing world class patient care in a modern, clean, and collaborative environment. Looking for assistants who are patient obsessed and absolutely love providing supreme service to both surgeon and patients!

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeon. Experience in IV sedation, wisdom teeth, dental implants strongly recommended
• Sterilize and prepare surgical armamentarium
• Monitor vitals, fill out anesthesia flow sheets
• Provide post op instructions for patients
• Schedule follow up appointments
• Comply with safety and infection control
• Be able to answer patient questions
• Be willing to learn!!!
• Have a great attitude in the face of mistakes

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting certification preferred.
• Previous experience as an oral surgery assistant
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems. We use Sensei Cloud.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
