Job Overview
We are looking for an EXPERIENCED, detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to become a valuable member of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for providing excellent patient care both in person and over the phone.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently and maintain the office calendar.
- Handle patient inquiries, phone calls, and emails promptly and courteously.
- Train to learn commonly asked questions about dental procedures, insurance specifications, and office policies.
- Verify insurance eligibility for private dental plans.
- Use Open Dental Software to maximize the doctor's schedule.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
- Hotel hospitality skills preferred.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Hospitality and communication skills mandatory.
- Organizational skills, multi-tasking, and learning on the job mandatory.
- Warm and welcoming presentation, tone, and etiquette a must.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team, lending a hand when needed for the benefit of our patients.
