Qualifications

• Certification not required; on-the-job training provided.
• Patient-focused care and compassionate approach.
• Experience with dental management software preferred (Denticon).
• State requirements for DA duties and BLS/CPR/radiography certificates.
• Dental assisting experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and escort patients through the treatment areas.
• Ensure treatment rooms are stocked and inventory is maintained.
• Take and record patient histories, vital signs, BP and pulse.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Sterilize instruments and assist during procedures.
• Provide dental education on oral hygiene.
