Cincinnati Dental Services - Florence - Ewing is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a collaborative two-person team. New grads welcomed; KY x-ray certification required. The role supports patient care with chairside assistance, Dentrix scheduling, and adherence to safety protocols.

Experience with iTero 3D scanning and Dentrix is a plus; the office emphasizes compassionate patient service and ongoing learning within Heartland Dental’s network.

Qualifications

• Required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI safeguards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate during treatment.
• Review patient health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostics (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Manage supply and inventory; place and expedite orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and improve workflow.
