Our mission to the community is to be a resource and leader. **The Dental Assistant performs a variety of patient care, and office duties, and often works chair-side as dentists examine and treat patients. Dental Assistant prepares the operatory, makes patients as comfortable as possible in the dental chair, prepares them for treatment, and obtains their dental records.****If you are interested in an exceptionally rewarding opportunity, then we would love to speak with you!****Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the following essential functions.*** Prepares operatories for patient treatment by setting up with appropriate instruments and materials.* Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations as well as adhering to infection control policies and protocols.* Assists chair-side in all procedures, charts in patient records, and complete lab tasks.* Maintains inventory of dental materials and supplies and assures that all equipment in the clinical areas remains functional.* Responsible for disinfecting and sterilizing dental instruments, equipment and supplies within the clinical area. Re-sterilizes autoclave bags as needed.* Cleans autoclave and runs spore tests by scrubbing and running the autoclave with a specific cleaner.
