Job summary

Prairie Band Health Services seeks a Dental Assistant to join Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Healthcare Center in Sisseton, SD. You will perform full-scope clinical duties, assist chairside, take radiographs, and maintain infection control while delivering compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include checking in patients, rooming, taking vital signs, processing records, and scheduling appointments. The role requires a high school diploma, licensure or certification as a dental assistant

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Preference for licensed/registered dental assistant with certification.
• If unlicensed, must have five years of experience and maintain radiographer training/license.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients and rooming
• Take vital signs
• Provide radiographs and chairside care
• Maintain infection control and instrument processing
• Clerical duties: manage patient records and scheduling.
