Mauthe & Associates in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking a Dental Assistant to support our clinical team with high-quality patient care in a clean, team-based environment.

The position offers full-time schedule Monday-Thursday 8 AM-5 PM with rotating Fridays 8 AM-Noon, competitive pay of $21.00-$25.00 per hour, and benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• One year on-the-job experience in dental assisting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Reliable and detail-oriented with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Clinical support: prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists.
• Patient care: welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
