Job summary

Bells Mill Dental Care in Yardley is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. This full-time role offers a Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5pm shift and Friday 7:30am-1pm, with a salary based on experience.

Expect to work with x-ray equipment, four-handed dentistry, and Dentrix scheduling in a supportive Heartland Dental environment. The ideal candidate will hold dental assistant and x-ray certifications, have strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced setting with

Qualifications

• Must have X-ray certification
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
• Dental assistant certification may be required by state act
• HIPAA training and data safeguards are required

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients from the start of their dental journey
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography)
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to supported dentists
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping
• Prepare treatment room with safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines
• Manage supplies and inventory and place/expedite orders
• Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow
