Dental Associates of Florida - Winter Haven is seeking a Dental Assistant in Winter Haven, FL to support the clinical team with high-quality patient care in a team-based setting. Duties include preparing rooms, sterilizing tools, taking X-rays, and educating patients on oral hygiene while maintaining records and compliance with safety standards.

Qualified candidates have a one-year dental assistant program or 6 months of experience, X-ray certification, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program.
• Six months on-the-job experience (with supporting documentation).
• X-Ray certification.
• Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling as needed.
