Qualifications

  • Perform sealants, fluoride treatments, polishing, and digital x-rays.
  • Maintain equipment, schedule patient appointments, and perform other duties.

Position Overview

The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist in clinical dentistry while maintaining a positive, courteous environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with team members to achieve Neighborcare's Mission, Guiding Principles, Service Commitments, and Goals.

Compensation
  • Target wage range: $23.18 - $32.16 per hour
  • Final offer based on skills, experience, location, and other factors
Responsibilities
  1. Prepare operatory for procedures, including cleaning, disinfection, and setting up instruments and materials
  2. Assist with procedures such as restorative work, extractions, endodontics, scaling, pediatrics, and prosthodontics
  3. Perform sealants, fluoride treatments, coronal polish, take digital x-rays, and impressions
  4. Maintain equipment and schedule patient appointments
  5. Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • BLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of accredited dental assistant program
  • One year of dental assisting experience
