Qualifications

• BLS CPR required within 90 days of hire; TB testing annually.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient service skills.

• Completion of formal Dental Assistant program or 18+ months dental assisting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry across multiple dental procedures.

• Assist with scheduling, charting, vitals, and patient education.
• Maintain sterilization, infection control, and OSHA compliance.
• Assist with inventory, supply ordering, equipment maintenance, and record keeping.
• Support insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and treatment planning.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and training of new staff.

It involves chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry across multiple dental procedures, escorting patients, supporting patient flow, completing scheduling, charting, vitals, patient education, maintaining sterilization, infection control, and OSHA compliance, assisting with inventory, supply ordering, equipment maintenance, record keeping, supporting insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and treatment planning, and participating in quality improvement activities and training of new staff.
