Job summary

Rock Dental Brands is seeking a licensed Dental Assistant to support dentists in delivering high-quality care. The role involves preparing the operatory, assisting during exams and procedures, and maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Qualified candidates will be licensed as an RDA or CDA, CPR certified, and preferably with 1+ year of dental assisting experience. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant or a Certified Dental Assistant.
• CPR required.
• Trained by an Accredited Dental Assistant School.
• 1+ years of Dental Assisting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate treatment needs clearly to parent and patient using the treatment plan.
• Identify prior authorization requirements and ensure signed consent forms.
• Maintain awareness of patient comfort and safety needs.
• Document all treatment rendered in medical records (electronic and paper).
• Perform general housekeeping and restocking as needed.

Our Dental Assistant will assist the dentist with patients to ensure the highest quality of care is provided. Perform clinical and technical procedures under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist. Prepare patient operatory and equipment and assist the doctor during examination and treatment.

A Few Specific Job Duties

• Must communicate clearly and calmly the treatment needs to parent and patient utilizing the prescribed treatment plan.


• Must be able to recognize and identify prior authorization requirements, along with ensuring signed consent forms.


• Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients.


• Provide clear and concise documentation of all treatment rendered using electronic and paper dental records and forms.


• Perform general housekeeping and restocking as needed.
