Base pay range

Description

SUMMARY

Under general supervision of the Clinic Dentist and Operations Manager, oversees all clinical operations in the respective clinic. Schedules, leads, and coordinates the day-to-day activities of the dental assistants, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, Family Health Services policies, and dental assisting protocols. Coordinates services with other departments and provides direct dental assisting services and patient care as needed.

Requirements

$22.60 - $25.60 DOE. Employees can earn up to $520 on the quarterly bonus.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, successful completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program, Expanded Functions Certification, and 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Ability to prepare administrative paperwork.
  • Knowledge of Family Health Service policies.
  • Proficiency with computers and software.
  • Understanding of finance, budgeting, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

Includes personnel management, day-to-day clinic operations, patient flow, handling complaints, managing supplies, equipment maintenance, quality assurance, finance, staff meetings, training, IT issues, employee health, staffing, and team collaboration.

Other responsibilities involve safety, compliance, patient-centered care, procedure adherence, and working conditions.
