Job summary

Lumio Dental in Lawrence, KS is seeking a Dental Assistant to work closely with doctors and patients, delivering exceptional chairside care and supporting a welcoming, efficient office environment.

Responsibilities include recording histories, taking vital signs, exposing X‑rays, applying fluoride, and educating patients on oral hygiene. Prior experience is preferred but new grads are welcome.

Qualifications

• Dental assistant experience preferred.
• Record treatment information in patient records.
• Expose dental diagnostic X‑Ray.

Responsibilities

• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
• Clean teeth, using dental instruments including cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
• Apply a protective coating of fluoride to teeth.
• Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts.

Position details

• Office hours: Monday - Wednesday 8-5pm, Thursday 8-4pm, Friday 8-1pm
