About The Role

As a Dental Assistant, you will work directly with dentists and patients to assist with dental procedures and ensure a smooth and efficient workflow in the office. You will play a critical role in helping patients achieve their best smile by assisting with dental procedures, providing excellent patient care, and supporting office operations.

Responsibilities

  • Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, building trust with young patients and their families for a stress-free visit.
  • Educate children and their parents on proper oral care and the importance of regular dental checkups, making learning fun and accessible.
  • Accurately maintain patient records, including medical history, treatment notes, and any relevant observations, ensuring thorough charting and documentation.
  • Keep the clinical area spotless and well-organized, strictly following infection control protocols, such as regular sterilization of instruments, to maintain safety and hygiene.
  • Prepare treatment rooms prior to patient arrival by ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready and available.
  • Assist in taking and processing dental X-rays as needed, following all safety guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Current Dental Assistant (DA) Certification, X Ray license, and CPR certification.
  • Successful completion of the initial online assessment provided during the application process.
  • Availability to work on weekends.
  • Strong positive and friendly attitude, with excellent interpersonal skills to create a welcoming environment for patients and families.
