East Carolina University seeks a Dental Assistant located in Bolivia, NC, responsible for clinical support to dentists and students in the School of Dental Medicine. The role includes assisting in dental procedures, patient monitoring, and performing dental x-rays as needed.
Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and completion of an accredited dental assisting program. Preferred qualifications include CPR and Radiology certifications.
This position is located in Bolivia, NC. The purpose of this position is to provide clinical support to the dentist, dental residents and dental students in the School of Dental Medicine clinics and Community Service Learning Centers.
The job is not subject to the State Human Resources Act. Employment in this position provides eligibility to participate in the UNC Optional Retirement Program (ORP), various voluntary supplemental retirement plans (401(k), 403(b), 457), and multiple voluntary options for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as supplemental plans including critical illness, flexible spending accounts, cancer, and disability.
High school diploma or equivalency and completion of an accredited dental assisting program; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
