Under the general supervision of the Chief Dental Officer, the Dental Assistant IV - Lead is responsible for patient care, inventory and supply management, dental clinic organization, and ensuring a quality patient experience. The Dental Assistant Lead is responsible for providing ongoing training and mentoring to other dental assistant staff.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Work Experience: Must have certification and 3-5 years' of progressive dental assisting experience required, 8-10 years' of progressive dental assisting experience may be substituted for education/certification. Community or Rural Dental care experience preferred.
Education, Certification and Licensure: Dental assisting certification from an accredited college or technical school. Cornel polishing certification preferred. Must have and maintain a current Basic Life Support (CPR) certificate.
Additional Skills & Knowledge: Bilingual preferred
