Job summary

Toothbar, PLLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our boutique dentistry team downtown. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of general dentistry experience, with Invisalign and Itero scanning proficiency, to support chairside procedures and patient care.

We offer competitive hourly rates starting at $25 depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth in a modern practice with digital radiography, iTero, and a patient-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience in a general dentistry office.
• Proficiency with Itero scanning, Invisalign, and radiography.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required; EFDA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories per infection control protocols.
• Take digital radiographs and intraoral images.
• Record and update patient medical histories and clinical notes.
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
• Maintain operatory cleanliness and organize supplies.
• Support front office duties including scheduling and patient communication.
