Practice is hands-on with clinical and administrative skills, guided by Ross curriculum. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in dental assisting or 5+ years with national certification (RDA or CDA) and a passion for teaching.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in dental assisting
• National certification as RDA (AMT) or CDA (DANB) or 5+ years’ field experience with certification
• Interest in teaching or prior teaching experience

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Dental Assisting classroom with 10-20 students using Ross lesson plans
• Deliver lectures and demonstrations; follow curriculum and materials
• Class sessions are 4.5 hours; part-time schedule typically 9–18 hours per week
