Qualifications

• No prior dental experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow state guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic dental assisting duties under dentist supervision.
• Support the Perfect Patient Experience and address patient needs.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures in the operatory.
• Assist with radiographs and intra-oral photos as directed after safety checks.
• Prepare for patient care and hand off to the front desk.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and oral health care.
• Record notes in the digital patient chart as directed.
• Present treatment records and health history to the dentist.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, DOL and HR policies.
