Come join our rapidly expandingAcorn Dentistry for Kids team! Our Dental Assistant in Training Program is a unique training experience that combines observation and hands-on training, as well as paid study time in preparation to get your Radiology, EFPDA, and Sealant certifications. Training ranges 3-6 months, and afterwards you enter into a 2 year contract with Acorn working as a Pediatric Dental Assistant. At Acorn Dentistry for Kids we believe Every Child Gets A Smile, and we're looking for team members that are passionate about helping kids and their smiles!

The Pediatric Dental Assistant in Training program requires commitment and intensive training that is not necessarily applicable to the dental hygienist education and training.

Requirements

What to expect

• Full time intensive curriculum that allows dental assistants in training to jump into full time clinical assisting when completed.
• Topics include infection control/sterilization, radiology, dental terminology, dental treatment procedures, and much more.
• Ongoing trainingincluding hands-on and paid study time.
