$17.00 - $23.75 / hourly

Responsibilities
  1. Learn and perform basic dental assisting functions in accordance with the applicable state’s Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties under the direct supervision of the licensed dentist.
  2. Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by learning how to keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending to their individual needs and concerns.
  3. Learn how to effectively complete proper infection control procedures for sterilization and operatory cleaning and disinfection to ensure safety.
  4. Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures at the direction of the dentist after completing all state requirements regarding radiation safety.
  5. Prepare for patient care procedures and execute them efficiently, including patient preparation, tray setup, chairside support, and patient handoff to the front desk.
  6. Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed by the dentist.
  7. Record patient charting and treatment notes in the digital chart as directed.
  8. Support patient care by presenting treatment records, consents, and health history to the dentist prior to treatment.
  9. Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, Dental Board).
