Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during restorative, surgical, implant, and denture procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before each appointment.
• Take dental X-rays as permitted by training and credentials.
• Sterilize instruments and follow infection control procedures.
• Update patient records in Dentrix and ensure checkout reflects completed treatment.
• Provide dentist-approved postoperative instructions.
• Track lab cases and communicate status to the clinical team.
• Maintain dental supplies, equipment, and clean, organized work areas.
• Work closely with the front desk to support timely patient flow.
