Affordable Dentures & Implants is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will provide exceptional chairside support across denture procedures, implants, oral surgery, and removable prosthetics, while ensuring patient comfort and clear communication throughout treatment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dental Assistant and X-ray certification (where required by state).
• Strong communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support and ensure a welcoming patient experience from check-in to treatment.
• Prepare operatories, instruments, equipment, and materials before each appointment.
• Assist dentists during denture procedures, implant placement, oral surgery, extractions, and prosthetic treatments.
• Take and assist with denture impressions, select impression trays, and prepare wax bites under direction.
• Assist with denture insertions, adjustments, relines, and repairs per state law.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, denture options, implant procedures, and post-operative care.
• Document patient medical histories, treatment info, and clinical notes accurately.
• Take dental radiographs in line with state requirements.
• Maintain infection control and sterilize instruments and operatories.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Support daily office operations and keep the clinical environment organized.
• Travel occasionally for training and CE opportunities.
