Responsibilities

• Assists dentist chair-side by delivering and receiving instruments, materials, and medications.
• Cleans and sterilizes dental instruments using autoclave or cold sterilization.
• Performs laboratory work such as preparing impression material, models, and minor prosthetic repairs.
• Takes X-rays, processes, labels, and stores X-ray film.
• Logs treatment data and maintains patient records; answers calls and schedules appointments.
• Orders necessary dental supplies and participates in patient education.
