Job summary

Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team in Michigan. You will assist the dentists, prepare treatment rooms, and educate patients on oral hygiene.

We value a fast-paced environment and a friendly, detail-oriented professional with 1–3 years of dental assisting experience. X-ray training certification is required or must be submitted within 8 weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of dental assisting experience.
• Michigan X-ray training certification or an 8-week period to submit it after hiring.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environment
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow
• Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist
• Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately
