Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Mount Vernon, WA is seeking on-site Dental Assistants II/III to support our dental team. You will assist providers across restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery within the WA Dental Practice Act framework.

Responsibilities include maintaining MSDS records, spore tests, dental supply inventory, and training new assistants. Fluency in English/Spanish and a formal Dental Assistant program are required.

Qualifications

• WA State license and BLS certification are required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Must be bilingual in English/Spanish and able to read/write dental materials.
• Completion of a formal Dental Assistant program is required.
• Minimum 2 years of Dental Assistant experience; more for higher levels.
• Knowledge of sterilization methods and OSHA regulations included.

Responsibilities

• Assist dental provider in Restorative, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery and other WA Dental Practice Act-permitted procedures.
• Maintain MSDS records, spore tests, and dental supply inventory.
• Train new Dental Assistants and organize schedules to generate checklists for procedures.
