Aesthetic & Family Dentistry of Washington is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant to join our team. The role involves preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting during procedures while ensuring patient comfort and proper records.

You will also handle charting, imaging, and basic administrative tasks to support clinical care. The ideal candidate holds DC Dental Assistant II certification with two years of experience, strong communication skills, and proficient computer

Qualifications

Must be certified in the District of Columbia as a Dental Assistant II and have two years of experience.
Candidate should have a pleasant and courteous personality, strong computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with dental practice management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist during procedures.
Make patients comfortable, prepare for treatment, obtain dental records, and educate on postoperative and oral health care.
Assist with impressions/restorations, patient charting, and taking dental x-rays as directed by a dentist.
Help with office duties such as ordering supplies, scheduling follow-up appointments, and maintaining organized supplies.
