Key Competencies:

  • Assist the dentist during procedures
  • Coordinate and present treatment plans to patients
  • Schedule appointments considering patient needs
  • Maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment
  • Record patient health histories
  • Manage patient care during procedures
  • Perform sterilization and room sanitization
  • Prepare materials and equipment for treatments
  • Complete dental charting
  • Manage inventory and perform ancillary duties

Qualifications:

  • DA Training or equivalent
  • Preferred 2-5 years of experience
  • Certified CDA or equivalent radiological certification, or completed CODA-accredited program
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
  • Ability to communicate treatment and insurance info professionally
  • Knowledge of Eaglesoft and/or Denticon is a plus
  • Reliable attendance
  • Independent thinking, good judgment, teamwork, initiative, dependability
  • Attention to detail and flexibility to work at multiple locations
  • Follow instructions and maintain confidentiality

Language and Reasoning Skills:

  • Read and interpret manuals, safety rules, and correspondence
  • Solve practical problems with limited standardization
  • Follow written, oral, and visual instructions
