Lane & Associates Family Dentistry in Durham, NC is hiring a Dental Assistant II to support dentists in delivering exceptional patient care. The role involves assisting chairside, maintaining operatory inventory, ensuring proper sterilization and infection control, and preparing treatment rooms and materials.

You will work with a friendly team, follow OSHA safety policies, and help prepare trays, take impressions, and manage lab tracking.

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant Certification (required).
• North Carolina X-Ray Certification (required).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 15–20 lbs.

Responsibilities

Now Hiring : Dental Assistant II - Durham Broad

At Lane & Associates Family Dentistry, we love to make our patients smile, and that starts with you! We are seeking a dedicated DA II to support our dentists in delivering exceptional patient care. This role is responsible for assisting chairside, maintaining operatory inventory, ensuring proper sterilization and infection control, and preparing treatment rooms and materials.

Key Responsibilities

Daily, weekly, and monthly tasks include (but are not limited to):

• Assist the dentist with all aspects of patient care.
• Reinforce preventive care instructions to patients.
• Seat and prepare patients for treatment.
• Support patients during dental procedures while ensuring comfort and calm.
• Clean and disinfect operatories after each procedure.
• Prepare tray set-ups and sterilize all instruments.
• Take preliminary impressions as needed.
• Monitor all lab cases to ensure readiness for patient appointments.
• Maintain accuracy of the lab tracking system.
• Manage dental supply inventory and ensure operatory readiness.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety policies.
• Assist with obtaining 5-star Google reviews through excellent service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
