Lane & Associates Family Dentistry is hiring a Dental Assistant II in Cary, NC to support dentists with chairside care and patient comfort. You will prepare treatment rooms, maintain inventory, sterilize instruments, and contribute to a smooth patient experience.

The role requires Dental Assistant Certification and NC X-Ray Certification, plus a high school diploma or GED. Lifting 15–20 lbs and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant Certification is required.
• North Carolina X-Ray Certification is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift 15–20 lbs as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with patient care and chairside support.
• Reinforce preventive care instructions to patients.
• Seat and prepare patients for treatment.
• Support patients during procedures to ensure comfort.
• Clean and disinfect operatories after each procedure.
• Prepare tray setups and sterilize instruments.
• Take preliminary impressions as needed.
• Monitor lab cases for readiness for appointments.

At Lane & Associates Family Dentistry, we love to make our patients smile, and that starts with you! We are seeking a dedicated DA II to support our dentists in delivering exceptional patient care. This role is responsible for assisting chairside, maintaining operatory inventory, ensuring proper sterilization and infection control, and preparing treatment rooms and materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with all aspects of patient care.
• Reinforce preventive care instructions to patients.
• Seat and prepare patients for treatment.
• Support patients during dental procedures while ensuring comfort and calm.
• Clean and disinfect operatories after each procedure.
• Prepare tray set-ups and sterilize all instruments.
• Take preliminary impressions as needed.
• Monitor all lab cases to ensure readiness for patient appointments.
• Maintain accuracy of the lab tracking system.
• Manage dental supply inventory and ensure operatory readiness.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety policies.
• Assist with obtaining 5-star Google reviews through excellent service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
