Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares operatory and equipment before seating patients.
• Greets and seats patients using the AIDET model.
• Reviews electronic dental chart and updates health history and vital signs.
• Ensures pre-exam documentation including waivers and treatment consents.
• Takes vital signs and x-rays under provider direction.
• Documents dental restorations and procedures as directed.
• Passes instruments and materials during patient care.
• Administers and monitors Nitrous Oxide and prophylaxis as prescribed.
• Takes impressions and pours models; trims as needed.
• Provides oral hygiene and aftercare instructions.
