Job summary

Vaya Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant I to join a busy clinical team, delivering four-handed chairside support and helping rooms stay prepared and efficient throughout the day. North Carolina radiology qualifications are required; compensation is $18–$22 per hour.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:45 AM–5:00 PM, some Fridays 7:45 AM–1:00 PM. Benefits include dental, vision, accident, disability, and voluntary life insurance.

Qualifications

• Four-handed chairside assisting experience preferred.
• Strong infection-control and sterilization practices.
• Professional, warm communication with patients.
• Reliable, proactive, organized, and team-oriented.
• Endodontic and oral surgery assisting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide four-handed chairside assisting for general and restorative procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
• Provide retraction and suctioning while anticipating the doctor's needs
• Take high-quality BWX, FMX, and panoramic radiographs
• Accurately document clinical findings
• Follow OSHA and CDC infection-control and sterilization protocols
• Support instrument processing and autoclave/spore-testing procedures
• Help maintain clinical inventory
• Support efficient patient flow and room turnover
• Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for

General dentistry experience is preferred.

What You'll Do

Provide four-handed chairside assisting for general and restorative procedures
