Job summary

Denver Health is seeking a Dental Assistant I - Outpatient Medical Center to join our mission-driven team. Under supervision, you will assist dental providers, manage clinic flow, and support infection control and radiographic imaging.

You will travel to Denver Health dental clinics as needed, support recall and preventative exams, and work closely with front office and patients to ensure high-quality care. BLS/CPR and CDA are required; less than 1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• No high school diploma or GED is required? (interpreted as requirement for completion of basic education)
• Less than 1 year of chairside dental assisting experience
• BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
• CDA certification from DANB

Responsibilities

• Support chairside dental assistant duties and acquire radiographic images
• Maintain environment of care and manage daily clinic schedules
• Assist with recalls and preventative exams
• Educate patients and parents on hygiene instructions
