  • Monday: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Tuesday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Wednesday: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Thursday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Friday: 7:30 am - 1:30 pm

Responsibilities

Dental Assistant partners with the practice team to provide excellent clinical support, helping patients get the care they need. Responsibilities include preparing patients for treatment and assisting the dentist in restorative dentistry.

Skills Required to Make a Great “Impression” on Our Team

  • Provide excellent chair-side clinical support and assistance to Doctors and Hygienists, including charting, operatory setup/cleanup, and patient education.
  • Record and review patient health history, make chart entries under the doctor's direction, and ensure completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
  • Review the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
  • Prepare patients, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, maintain asepsis, prepare materials, and assist dentists during procedures following OSHA guidelines.
  • Expose and develop dental diagnostic radiographs.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including HIPAA compliance, CPR, X-rays, and other certifications.

Qualifications

  • Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training
  • 1-5 years of experience preferred; new graduates considered
  • Radiography/X-ray certification for the respective state
  • CPR Certification required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients
