Qualifications

• Experience or training as a dental assistant is welcome.
• Ability to take and record patient histories and vital signs.
• Familiarity with dental instruments and fluoride application.

Responsibilities

• Expose dental diagnostic X-Ray.
• Record treatment information in patient records.
• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
• Clean teeth, using dental instruments including cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
• Apply a protective coating of fluoride to teeth.
• Fabricate temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts.
