Aspen Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant to support a busy practice in Bartow, FL. This full-time hourly position offers entry to mid-level responsibilities, including assisting during procedures, taking x-rays, and supporting patient flow.

The role emphasizes infection control, patient education, and collaboration with the dental team to ensure excellent care and satisfaction. A qualified candidate will have a high school diploma and state licensing as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active license or permit as required by state; X-ray certification if required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental x-rays and manage imaging records.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Monitor patient flow and handoffs within the practice.
• Maintain infection control and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene to maintain health.
• Complete denture relines and temporary crowns as needed.
• Perform impressions and bite registrations and digital scans.
• Support patient charting for doctors and perform general office tasks.
