Washington Plaza Dentistry in Thornton, CO is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team and advance your clinical skills within a supportive practice.

You will assist the dentist, maintain a clean and cheerful operatory, perform x-rays and intra-oral photographs as needed, and help deliver an exceptional patient experience while growing professionally through CE opportunities and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with ADA guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the dentist as necessary to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable and at the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with the American Dental Association guidelines while maintaining strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, HR policies and practices)
