Job summary

Olney Modern Dentistry is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our practice and help deliver the Perfect Patient Experience®. You will support clinicians, maintain a clean and sterile environment, and contribute to high-quality patient care using modern technology.

You will gain valuable experience working with a team that cares about the local community and ongoing professional development, including CE opportunities and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be a trained Dental Assistant with certification or equivalent.
• Experience keeping patients comfortable and maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment.
• Familiarity with OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, DOL and related regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to obtain the best possible treatment plan and patient commitment.
• Maintain a clean, sterile operatory and cheerful environment.
• Take and process X-rays and intra-oral pictures as appropriate.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment and operatories per guidelines and regulations.
