Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant in Bridgewater, MA. This full-time position offers $24-$29 per hour, plus a $500 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. You will receive best-in-class training and opportunities for career development within a supportive, collaborative team.

As part of the clinical staff, you will assist with various procedures, maintain operatory readiness, ensure infection control, educate patients, and help promote excellent oral health in the community.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment.
• Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Complete denture relines and manufacture temporary crowns.
• Perform quality impressions and bite registrations.
• Perform digital intraoral scans.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
