Job summary

The Smilist in Medford, NJ is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. The role requires an active NJ x-ray license and at least 1 year of dental assisting experience.

Qualifications

• Active NJ X-ray license required.
• At least 1 year experience as Dental Assistant.
• RDA preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures.
• Dentrix experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep patients focused on treatment while addressing concerns and promoting the doctor.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and assist doctors to enable quality treatment.
• Escort patients to the front desk.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and manage supply levels in each operatory.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
