Qualifications

• Dental Assistant experience preferred, but training is possible.
• Current Iowa Dental Assistant registration or ability to obtain.
• X-ray certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Take digital radiographs and maintain patient records.
• Educate patients on oral health and post-treatment care.
• Ensure patients are comfortable throughout their visit.
• Maintain infection control and OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with doctors, hygienists and front office to deliver care.
