Qualifications

• Dental assisting certification or equivalent training.
• CPR and state radiography certification required.
• Proven ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent chair-side clinical support to doctors and hygienists.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist during restorative procedures.
• Record patient health history and ensure forms are properly signed in dental software.
• Sterilize and set up instruments and trays, maintain asepsis.
• Take and develop dental radiographs following OSHA guidelines.
• Adhere to HIPAA, CPR, X-ray safety regulations and state requirements.
