Job summary

BGH Dental in Greenfield, MA is seeking a knowledgeable Dental Assistant for a full-time role. You will support dentists by preparing treatment rooms, taking x-rays, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining patient records in a fully digital practice.

We value patient-centered care and a collaborative team. Prior experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate; CPR is required. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Adhere to OSHA guidelines, HIPAA privacy policy, and clinical operating procedures.
• Operate dental equipment and maintain cleanliness of operatory areas.
• Contribute to a respectful, collaborative team environment.
• Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction during visits.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment.
• Sterilize and set up instruments for procedures.
• Take diagnostic digital x-rays as prescribed.
• Follow state regulations for duties without certification where required.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and records.
• Set up and break down rooms per infection control protocols.
• Communicate patient and equipment needs to team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
