Job summary

Passion Dental in Holyoke, MA is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and ensure high-quality patient care. You will assist with procedures, prep rooms, sterilize instruments, and take radiographs where allowed.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of dental assisting experience, state-required certification, strong communication, multitasking, and a commitment to outstanding patient care. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Dental Assistant certification as required by state regulations.
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support clinicians in delivering exceptional patient care and the Relationship Practice Experience (RPE).
• Assist doctors during a variety of dental treatment procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care.
• Sterilize and maintain instruments according to OSHA and infection control standards.
• Take dental radiographs as permitted by state regulations.
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient education.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure treatment rooms remain clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Collaborate with doctors, hygienists, specialists, and front office staff.
